The Ebor Grandstand provides facilities for day members, annual members, sponsors suites and private boxes. Incorporating facilities for approximately 4,000 race goers there is external viewing for a further 1,000 (seated) and 550 standing. A racing Integrity Tower also formed part of the development with facilities for judges, photofinish, race stewards, TV cameras and radio and television commentary.

GWP have worked in association with the Directors of the Racecourse over the past 20 years on a variety of projects, including the provision of two major grandstand developments.

Located within a conservation area, the re-development aspects of the site have required careful consideration with the Local authority Planning Department in respect of potential visual impact primarily to the surrounding area. The practice has also been recognised by a number of significant awards for projects on the site.
