A Mental Health Care development for Leeds Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, this scheme included the reprovision of adult mental health services within the Leeds area. ‘The Mount’ is a new build 92 bed acute mental health facility including a specialist mother & baby unit set within a conservation area.

Part of Leeds Mental Heatlh’s £47 million reprovision process, ‘The Mount’ accommodated the relocation of mental health care facilities across Yorkshire, including High Royds Psychiatric Hospital at Menston, West Yorkshire which dated back to 1888.

The re-development also included the refurbishment and extension of the existing ‘Woodhouse Hall’ to form a specialist 13 bed child & adolescent mental health facility, including an inpatient and day patient care unit within this existing Grade II listed building.
