GWP Architecture commit to a continuing programme of design research and development and provide consultancy on sustainability, the design of low energy buildings and modern methods of construction.
We are commissioned to research sustainable design and technologies on a regular basis for clients in the housing and commercial sectors. We have worked closely with Dr Avi Freidman (professor of architecture at McGill University Montreal and a world authority on the development of affordable, sustainable housing.) Our current collaboration involves the rethinking of housing for the elderly.
GWP Architecture has completed research projects evaluating off-site manufacturing systems and incorporating innovation in construction. Recent projects demonstrate that challenging existing construction processes can achieve significant gains when measured against the governments ‘key performance indicators’ in construction.
