At the end of yet another year Richard and I would like to thank all colleagues at GWP Architecture for their work and valued contribution to the success of the practice.
The support from our long standing existing and new clients this year is also greatly appreciated, as a reflection of the service GWP provide and ultimately the buildings we create.
We can look forward to the coming year commencing work on a number of new projects across the UK, including the National Horseracing Museum at Newmarket starting on site in January. Importantly for us to the work we are doing extends across a variety of sectors, which makes for a more resilient business and more interesting work.
GWP continue to be at the forefront of innovative, sustainable/affordable architecture and recent schemes have been featured in international conferences on student accommodation, and new publications on sustainable design.
Next year will also see development of purpose built offices for GWP in Chapel Allerton. Part of a mixed use office/residential scheme which will be designed to Passivhaus and zero carbon standards. This time next year we should be moving in! The scheme will also be an interesting project for us all, and a unique development in Leeds.
