Studio
Our head office in Leeds is based in a 19th century Victorian listed building which has been adapted and refurbished to provide modern architectural studio space. The building is set in its own grounds, within a conservation area north of city centre.
The open plan studio supports a creative and integrated working environment, and the external grounds to the building provide an attractive setting to work.
When possible the approach to working practices is to reduce our impact on the environment and provide a healthy workplace. We adapt simple policies such as facilitating alternative means of traveling to work and monitoring gas and electricity consumption. We have successfully integrated measures to reduce our carbon footprint, year on year.
Our Leeds office works closely with the other offices in the UK and Prague.
GWP Architecture continuously look to research best practice and innovative design solutions. Part of that process involves regular office study visits to innovative buildings and architecture. Recent visits include Edinburgh, Copenhagen, Prague, Barcelona & Darmstadt/Frankfurt. The office visits the Royal Academy summer exhibition each year.
