Lidl Regional Distribution Centre, Wednesbury

The Regional Distribution Centre for Lidl is located in Wednesbury, adjacent to Junction 9 of the M6. The scheme is designed to achieve BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification, with TSL Projects overseeing the construction of the new facility.

The 41,800 m² (450,000 sq ft) building—equivalent in size to six professional football pitches—was completed in December 2016.

This centre is a key part of Lidl’s ongoing expansion across the UK and has created approximately 500 jobs. The facility operates on a three-shift basis, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
