The proposed redevelopment of this 1.44-hectare brownfield site provides approximately 79 new dwellings in a range of typologies, including detached, semi-detached and terraced houses, cottage apartments and larger apartment buildings. The scheme seeks to create a diverse, community-focused neighbourhood that is well integrated and connected with its surrounding context.

The masterplan is structured around a landscaped green spine that culminates in a central village green, providing shared amenity space for residents and opportunities for informal play and activity. New east-west pedestrian routes improve permeability through the site, while shared-surface home zones create pedestrian-friendly streets, encourage walking and cycling and support natural surveillance.

The proposed dwellings use simple, traditional housing forms, with the apartment buildings providing a more distinctive architectural language at key locations. Subtle references to the nearby St Joseph and St Laurence Church are introduced through feature gables, patterned brickwork and contrasting window details. Retained trees, native planting, hedgerows and scrub planting further enhance the landscape and maximise opportunities for biodiversity.
