GWPA Principle Designer CPD

The GWPA team recently took part in an insightful CPD session delivered by Director Richard Townend, focusing on the Principle Designer (Building Regulations) role and its importance within our projects. The session provided the team - new and old - with an in-depth understanding of the responsibilities, legal expectations, and practical implications associated with the role. Richard updated the office on recent project examples and lessons learnt that helped highlight how the Principle Designer influences project safety, coordination, and overall design quality.

The whole team came away with valuable knowledge that will strengthen our approach and enhance the way we collaborate across disciplines to ensure schemes are compliant with current legislation.
