RICS Conference

GWPA were invited to present a case study on the Palace Theatre, Swansea as part of this years RICS conference in Cardiff.

We presented key learnings from the ongoing refurbishment project, some of the fascinating discoveries and unexpected challenges it has provided to date. We discussed how to navigate these challenges and ensure that we can adapt buildings to meet modern needs and net zero targets inline with the wider themes of the conference.

Associate Director Ben Parish, presented alongside Claire Deacon, a Historic Building Surveyor from Marloes Conservation who discussed her discoveries in the use of lime in Pembrokeshire vernacular architecture.
