Penderyn Whisky Distillery & Visitor Centre RICS Award Shortlist
The Penderyn Whisky Distillery and Visitor Centre at the Hafod Copperworks in Swansea has been shortlisted for the RICS 2024 Awards (Wales) in the Heritage Category.
The scheme includes the restoration of two grade II listed buildings, that were once part of a pivotal hub in the copper industry, along with the addition of a contemporary extension. This is great news for all involved and the scheme’s transformative impact is already acting as a catalyst for wider regeneration, promoting a cultural legacy and fostering a renewed sense of local pride.
